Looking after your leather goods starts with day-to-day care. By following just a few simple rules, you can avoid unnecessary wear and tear and extend the life of your accessories for years.

• Leather is a skin, and it can stretch. Avoid overfilling your handbag, purse or wallet to maintain its original silhouette
• Take extra care with leather items you use often. Take the time each week to wipe away dust and spots with a soft cloth or brush
• Scratches can detract from a flawlessly crafted piece. Take care to avoid contact with heavily embellished clothes, sharp surfaces, or chunky jewellery when you are out and about.
• Wet leather requires extra care, so if rain is forecast, remember to take an umbrella

We recommend storing your item in the dust bag provided and place in a well aired position out of direct sunlight. Gently stuff with tissue paper to keep the silhouette looking fresh.

Although it's tempting to leave our handbags packed with our daily essentials ready for the next day, instead take the time to empty them completely to avoid warping. Once empty, you can maintain the handbag's silhouette by gently filling it with plain, acid-free tissue paper.

If you are planning to leave your bag in storage for an extended period - until next season, for example - you might also like to take the time to wrap hardware such as zips and clasps in tissue paper to avoid them creating any unwanted imprints on your leather.

Please take care to keep out of the rain and always store in a cool, dry place.

Should your leather come in contact with water wipe down immediately to avoid any marking or expansion. To be safe it is best to avoid perfumes and cosmetics too.

Sunlight and Heat can damage the leather and edge paint on your item, please take care not to leave in direct sunlight as it can cause the edge paint to become soft and can wear off.

To clean, use a dry or slightly dampened (warm water is best) delicate cotton cloth, to gently wipe away any dirty marks. While cleaning, make sure that the item does not get too damp. Always dry it off completely.

Hardware will scratch with repeated use - please take care to ensure the hardware does not come in contact with abrasive surfaces, perfumes and hand sanitisers. Gently clean and polish with a dry cloth if necessary.

FINE JEWELLERY

9ct gold and sterling silver is beautiful for everyday wear, but can still be delicate, so please handle with care.

To avoid accidental damage, Jewellery should be removed before sleeping, exercise, swimming, bathing, and undertaking physical activity.

Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, soaps, shampoo, chlorine, cosmetics, moisturisers, and saltwater as these may be harmful to your jewellery. Items should be stored individually in the velvet jewellery pouch provided with purchase and placed in a cool dry moisture free place when not being worn.
Lightly wipe your jewellery with a jewellery cloth after each wear. For pieces set with crystals, do not use any jewellery cleaning solutions, as this may affect the lustre and loosen the setting of the stones. To clean these more delicate items, use a tissue or soft polishing cloth to wipe away any grease or marks.

WARRANTY

We take care to quality check all our items. However if you do find a material or workmanship fault under normal use (within the care quidelines), we will repair or replace the item.
